week2-2

Every city has its own character and its own development path, so there is probably no such a uniformed way to solve the sustainable problems for all citys or rural towns. For instance, Sydney cannot use the solutions that Paris has used to treat the water sustainability problem, since the weather, location, city scale, society environment etc. are very distinct from each other. Finding the right way that fit the individual place is very important in order to gain sustainability, other wise there might be more issues come up before the goals been achieved.

week2-1

Just thought about the sharing economy, which is a great way of making use of the idle items.  Sharing can promote the flow of social wealth, increase the circulation efficiency of social wealth, expand people's consumption demand and satisfy more people's interests. The nature of the sharing economy is the integration of offline idle goods or services, allowing them to provide products or services at a lower price. For the supplier, to obtain a certain amount of money by transferring the right to use or providing the service within a certain period of time; for the demander, instead of owning the ownership of the item directly, it is shared through rent, loan, etc. I think sharing economy will contribute to reducing energy or resource waste to a certain degree. However, it is based on a large number of population and the well-developed exchange of information on the internet.
